Selecting the right eyewear frame is a key element in vision correction and in maintaining the aesthetic coherence of the face. A properly fitted frame ensures not only optimal lens positioning but also highlights the wearer’s individual features, influencing both comfort and self-esteem. This article discusses issues related to facial aesthetics, ergonomics, material biocompatibility, and the role of modern technologies in customized eyewear fitting. It also considers the specific needs of children, for whom the proper selection of frames affects both visual and social development. The discussion is based on current research in optometry, ergonomics, and user-centered design.
